Mass Senior Incorporated (MSI) Support Group
Mass Senior Incorporated (MSI) brings seniors together in small, welcoming gatherings where participants can share experiences, discuss common challenges, exchange resources, and support one another. Our groups are confidential, guided by trained peer volunteer facilitators, and always free of charge.
We meet virtually on the last Tuesday of each month from 7:00–9:00 PM.
At MSI, we are proud to be seniors helping seniors, offering support through both life’s challenges and its brighter moments. MSI is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit organization.

Dr. Kenneth (Ken) Jaffe is a retired psychiatrist with a long and distinguished career in clinical care, teaching, and mental health services leadership.
He began his career at the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston, where he directed student mental health services for multiple professional schools, including the medical and nursing schools. During this time, he was also actively involved in research on depression and its treatment and participated in the teaching and supervision of psychiatric residents.
Dr. Jaffe spent the majority of his career in Western Massachusetts. He worked for 15 years at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, where he served primarily as the Director of Outpatient Psychiatric Services. In this role, he oversaw outpatient mental health care and contributed to the development and delivery of psychiatric services.
He later joined a private practice group affiliated with Holyoke Medical Center, where he practiced for 25 years. His work included providing care to psychiatric inpatients in the mornings and conducting outpatient clinical practice for the remainder of the day. Over the course of his career, he treated a broad and diverse patient population ranging from ages 18 to 100.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Jaffe remained committed to education. He taught medical students and primary care physicians, contributing to the training of future healthcare providers.
Dr. Jaffe is board certified in both Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry, reflecting his expertise in adult and older adult mental health care.
